We recently ordered 25 QNX licenses and got sent a single “Master” license
diskette and certificate and 25 stickers (instead of getting 25 separate
packages with a diskette in each). Running the license utility on the the
“Master” license diskette indicated that it was good for one node, i.e.,
qnxNNNNNNNN-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (1 node)
The certificate lists only one license key (with the same number extracted
from the diskette).
How do I get 25 licenses from this “Master” license key? Or did they just
ship me 24 too few licenses?
You must ask for it specifically.
(Or your reseller should have asked specifically …)
For non-networked application, a single license is prefectly
fine, so that’w why there is a choice.
I’m sure if you ask nicely your reseller will sort it out.
