A client called and fax me a hand written copy of an error message that appeared on their screen, and I’m not totally sure what to make of it. I thought I’d post it here for some people to comment on and maybe give me a clue as to what this is. Here it is… I’m doing my best to translate the hand written parts on the fax, but it’s not really clear as to what all the letters are.

It’s a crash message from Proc, and judging by the date it’s probably Proc
4.25 version J . If the information that you’ve transcribed here is
correct, it looks to be an issue which has already been resolved and is in
the latest update for QNX4 (patch G). There where a few windows of
opportunity w.r.t. timer add/del/fire and could cause Proc to follow a bad
address. Try the update and see if that resolves your issue.
PS. If you can avoid it, please don’t post in HTML - plain text only,
thanks.

Thanks for the info Adam, sorry about the HTML, outlook express keeps
defaulting to use Rich Text.

Depending on your version, somewhere under Tools->Accounts there
should be an option that says “Post Using”. Just select Plain Text.
For me ( Version 6) it’s under Tools/Options/Send bottom of the dialog.
