silent SB AWE64

Hi…
My Soundblaster AWE64 is silent, not peep

The output from enum-pnpisa is

#1282085 PNPBIOS version=1.00
#1282085 PNPISA revision=1 num=1 ioport=20b
D1282085 bus=isapnp devid=CTL00E4 card=1 sernum=441594848
F1282085

I’ve tried using the following commandlines

deva-sb -p220 -i5 -d0,1
deva-sb -p0x220 -i5 -d0,1

but they just return, leaving no sign of anything in the stdout from
ps -A (those are the settings I’ve used in Linux and match those in BeOS
and Win98)

I’ve even tried changing the devid in /etc/system/enum/audio for the
AWE64 setting, no luck there.

The error I get from phplay (when starting from the command line) is

snd_ctl_open error: No such file or directory

Any idea’s or should I report this to support.qnx.com

Check your BIOS for a PnP OS setting. Switch it to no/disabled/off.
I did and my AWE64 works fine now.
