Real Player

Just started up real player G2 and attempted to play /usr/share/video/QNX.rm. I get sound, but no video. /usr/share/video/QNX.mpg works fine in MediaPlayer (great video, by the way!). Any ideas?

You should post what graphics hardware you’re using

I think you need to be in a mode higher that 256 colour for the video to work
on the realplayer. Check your settings.

I think you need to be in a mode higher that 256 colour for the video to
work
on the realplayer. Check your settings.

Weird. This is the same configuration that a lot of us run
here at QNX. How much free RAM do you have before starting
Real (pidin in)? Can you post the first line of your
/etc/system/config/graphics-modes file? Can you try another
color depth (24 or 32)?

Darn, could have SWORN I had specified 16-bit! You’re right, I WAS in 8-bit. Now that I’ve changed it to 16-bit, works like a champ. Thanks!
