network connection not available after os change

hi,

the build-in network card in the sony-vaio does sometimes not work
when i reboot my computer from win98/2 and then go into qnx.

there is an error msg during qnx boot with something like
MII not found. what ever that is.

Could you post the output from runing “nicinfo” here? I would
be intereted in knowing exactly what network card you have in
your laptop.

it seems, that it does not work when you do a warm start.
with a cold start everything is fine. note: doing a warm
start from qnx to win98/2 windows hangs at startup.
i had pnpos disabled.

the networkadapter in the sony vaio is built in, so its
not a card like a pcmcia device.
