Hi everybody.
I have the YAMAHA Opl-SA sound card installed,
but it doesn’t work - if I run the Media Player
it says something like “Cannot read/write control”
(sorry, I don’t remember exactly).
So, is it possible to force my sound cart to work
(I know IRQ, DMA numbers, I/O ports) ?
Thanks in advance !
Best regards,
Arturas Baranauskas
The Yamaha OPL3-SA is not supported in RtP at this time.

Yes, I know
I just expected some workaround - the Yamaha OPL3-SA should
be SoundBlaster compatible , isn’t it ?

Not exactly. Its default mode is Windows Sound System 2 compatible.
You have to program it to enable the SB-Pro compatiblitity.
