Installing packages without package manager

Hi, folks!

I just downloaded QNX RTP and I’m absolutly amazed how
good it works! The Linux crowd still has to learn a lot about
installation procedures!

My problem is, I have one of those nasty winmodems, but
I don’t really care about the internet stuff, I just want to get
a minimal development system (with the GNU tools, an editor,
etc.) up and running.
Now, how (and where) exactly (if that’s possible) can I down-
load the development packages (under Windows) and smuggle
them into the QNX filesystem (on top of FAT32) ?

Any help would be really appreciated!

cheers,
felix

Can’t be done, buy a non-winmodem
OR if you want a copy of the CD, download the qnxrtp.iso image and burn your
own or you may order one…
