Mouse acceleration

Are there any plans to make the mouse acceleration,
well, a little saner. If I specify -G1 in input-trap,
the mouse is way to slow. If I specify -G2, the mouse
is too fast. -G1.5 seems to have no effect. The
mouse settings in every other OS I’ve ever tried
have a much finer granularity, so I was wondering
of QSL is working on fixing this.

The gain parameters are integers and are simply used to multiply the amount
of movement the mouse makes by a constant factor.

Accelleration adjusts this factor dynamically so that if you are moving
the mouse slowly, you have no gain, and when you move the mouse quickly
the gain increases.

There will be a utility soon that will allow you to adjust both gain and
accelleration. It will probably be `saner’ for you.
