Network Card Problems...

Hiya Folks,

Well, I am a new user to QNX RTP, and I am having some problems getting
my network card up and running. QNX does not seem to want to recognize the
card for some reason.

It’s kind of important to get this up and running, because I use cable
for my internet connection…

I’m not exactly sure what network card I have, but Windows has it as a
‘NDC 10/100 Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter (MX-A)[MX987x5]’.

Any help you could provide me would be greatly appreciated. I’de like
to start using QNX RTP more often, but without the internet, it is a bit
difficult.

Anyway, thanks in advance.

That is a Macronix tulip clone. I am sorry to report to you that it is
not yet supported. It is in my queue of things to get done. I have it
mostly functioning, but there is some issue with the phyiscal layer on
the cards I have. Check http://staff.qnx.com/~cdm/networking/ for
unoffical network driver updates, when devn-tulip.so supports this card
it will show up in that location.
