I’ve got a timeout problem.
Opening device ‘/dev/ser1’
Initializing modem

Dialing 06102223826…
ATDT06102223826
connect 34666/arq/v90/lapm/v42bis
Link Established
Negotiating PPP connection
pppd[589855-1]: pppd 2.3.5 started by root, uid 0
pppd Started
pppd[589855-1]: Using interface ppp0
pppd[589855-1]: Connect: ppp0 <–> /dev/ser1
pppd[589855-1]: LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
pppd[589855-1]: Connection terminated.
Connection Terminated
PPPD connection closed
As you can see when pppd enters in action a timeout occurs, what’s
happening?
Try leaving the connection speed blank in the dialer config window.

Check the other threads with my name as sender. You should find some
replies from
QNX staff on how to run a trace. Check the installation newsgroup.
