I have downloaded the ABi suite from the QNXStart website but how do I
install it. How do I get the package manager to “see” my newly downloaded
package. I bet its easy when you know how.

If you look at the source site for the current binary package of
Photon AbiWord (http://staff.qnx.com/~thomasf/abiword/) then
you should find detailed instructions there.
The next update will be taking place Real Soon Now and will be
available for download directly from the AbiSource web site
(www.abiword.com).
