Do you know what type of video chip is in your laptop?

Can you post the output of pci -v ?

There were a number of problems with Toshiba laptops that
contained Chips & Technologies parts.

When you get this option press the spacebar and select option 3 to
not start Photon. You should get a login prompt. Login as root and
type pci -v. Post the information here. Thanks

Michael,

My laptop does not stop for the spacebar, it just simply skips this
step,
Press the spacebar to input boot options…

When you install qrtp you provided a password I assume.
Are you SURE you are using this same password.

If not you may need to reinstall the whole thing (there
are ways around this but it’s probably faster to reinstall
anyway)

I installed this version in my Windows 95 (1 partition) desktop, it works
fine.
I really like this RTOS. But I do not understand why it does not on
my laptop! I read the newsgroup, and find there are many problems on Toshiba
Laptop.
