phplay + cd audio

Hello, I have a problem getting phplay to play audio cds.
Phplay allows me to eject and insert the tray, but it doesn’t
play the cd and if I select Launch–>Audio CD, I recieve the following error message, “Can’t open cdrom”. I have a Plextor Ultraplex40 on a Adaptec 2930C scsi card. Data cds are auto{mounted|unmounted} just fine.
If I issue mount -t cd /dev/cd0 /{empty mount point}, the command completes successfully {unexpected}, however, I cannot access the filesystem {expected}. Should I RTFM, if so what part. Thanks.

Well, I figured it out. Phplay works fine, when the mount
{shouldn’t it be “device”} point is pointed at /dev/cd*.
However, phplay would not allow me to set the correct device
under the gui. The config file states that CDDB is on yet it
doesn’t seem to be working.
