Hallo da ich mir das QNX von der qnx.com gezogen haben, und die
installation soweit reibungslos ging,
habe ich nur 2 Fragen wie und unter welchen menue kann ich einen
Benutzer(user) ändern…
und ist eine komunikation zum nt4srv und zurück möglich… ??? Ping zum srv
und zück funktionieren…

Wird es auch bald eine German NG von QNX geben… würde sehr gut kommen, da
das qnx bei mir einen
sehr guten eindruck hinterlassen hat…

I downloaded QNX from qnx.com and so far, the installation has been without
trouble.
I do have two questions though:
First, under which menu can I update system users?
Second, is communications between nt4srv and back possible?? I am able to
ping the srv and get a response.
Answer to first question:
You do this from a terminal box. Click on “Terminal” and run “use passwd”,
better yet, look up passwd in the help system.
Second question:
I don’t understand what service you are asking about? I hear SAMBA (from
qnxstart.com) will allow you to expose your filesystem to Microsoft systems,
but I have no personal experience with the product. Personally, I use
“fs-cifs -a //windowsservername:ipaddress/share /u user password” in my
“/etc/rc.d/rc.local” file to map the QNX directory /u to a MS Windows share.
If you don’t understand my english, email me and I will attempt to
translate. I lack the necessary “fachdeutsch”.
