Commands

QNX Newsgroups (Archives) qdn.public.qnxrtp.newuser

I have just installed RTP and it seems like none of the commands work.
Simple things like vedit say that the command is not found. How do I get
these commands to work? Even things like ifconfig and others.

Hi Eric,

The initial install only installs the Base Package.
Use the Package Installer to install any additional packages.

Note that vedit isn’t available for QNX 6.1, and that some commands
which you may wish to run may be in /sbin or /usr/sbin, which by
default is not in your path unless you are logged in as the superuser.
