DOWNLOADED THE ISO IMAGE

…And what disappointment. When I try to use it with NERO BURNING ROM, it
answers to me that the file is not an expected format.
It took me 40 hours to download it and it doesnt work!! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!
Anyone have an idea why this is happening? (and yes, I download it the WHOLE
FILE)

From the Nero menu, select File, Burn Image.
Change “Files of type:” to “All Files (.)”.
Select the qnxrtp.iso file.
Accept all the default settings, but check “Finalize CD” on the “Burn” tab.

I renamed it “qnxrtp.nrg” (on the advice of a “expert”) and it worked
alright after giving me some warnings, I accepted the defaults for
everything.

I didn’t boot for me either. I went on the CD and started the setup
application
manualy. But then if you need to create a bootable floppy you won’t find it
on the CD -(

Looks like some stuff got rushed out.

I don't have any solution for you problem but all stuff to create bootable floppy is on CD. This is instflop.dat file, I suppose, you are looking for.
Like you , I downloaded .iso image file from QNX site. I did it on QNXRTP 6.0 computer. Then I transferd this file on WIndows base computer and burned CD with Easy CD Creator 4.  And now I have bootable CD and I can create bootable floppy with no problem, too.

I had the same problem so I checked up Nero’s help & its seems I worked it
out.

You make a virtual burn onto the hardrive which changes it from ISO format
to NRG format, then you burn that NRG file onto the CD as a image burn.

Check the help files, you’ll work it out.

So I checked the help

This web site is helpful for burning the image:
http://ftp.neurotic.org/pub/e-smith/e-smith/docs/howto/CD_burning_howto.php3
I used Easy CD Creator(“Create CD From Disk Image”). , and followed the
steps mentioned in this web site, evething worked fine.
You can make it.
