Just downloaded the new RTP release for installation as a file under
Windows98 SE but got the above error when I tried to launch.

Have I not read RTFM properly?

Hi Adrian,
It seems that you have an error during your download that couldn’t be
recovered (by protocol’s error checking & correcting). Try downloading
it again…
