Linksys NIC Compatibility?

I own a laptop with a Linksys Etherfast 10/100 NIC (Model PCM100 v2).

I checked the QNX hardware compatibility list, and the Etherfast 10/100 is
listed, but not the specific model number.

QNX 6.1 refuses to recognize the device and there is no en0 listed in the
network configuration tool. What should I do?

Hi,

Could you please run pci -vvv with devp-pccard running and the Linksys
card inserted and post the output on here (in a message).

Thanks.

Hi,

The PCM100 is a PCMCIA card that we don’t support. Our
web site states “CardBus” for the LinkSys Etherfast ethernet card.

There are 2 of these listed, probably 1 for each PC Card slot. I had to
type
all this in from another computer - floppy doesn’t work can’t transfer
output file to other workstation.

Hi,

Could you please run pci -vvv with devp-pccard running and the Linksys
card inserted and post the output on here (in a message).

Thanks.

I own a laptop with a Linksys Etherfast 10/100 NIC (Model PCM100 v2).

I checked the QNX hardware compatibility list, and the Etherfast
10/100
is
listed, but not the specific model number.

QNX 6.1 refuses to recognize the device and there is no en0 listed in
the
network configuration tool. What should I do?
