Hi gang, looking for a QNX friendly motherboard-

Would like a small ATX motherboard (if possible, I’ll settle for a full size
one if need be)

that would (ideally) have integrated sound, video and NIC that is QNX RTOS
6.1.0 friendly.

Failing having sound, vid and NIC, perhaps just sound and NIC?

Thanks!

I don’t know any, but you can check our h/w support page and see if chispsets
(video/audio/nic) on your future motherboard are supported by 6.1.0

Hi Erik,

In fact, high-integrated boards usually are small in size, so it
should not be a problem. The main problem is that these integrated
perpherals usually do HSP (host signal processing) - wich means they
use the CPU for doing DSP (digital signal processing) for them. The
program that does the DSP is usually a Wndows driver, so it will be
very hard to find a board with these peripherals compatible to QRTP.
You’re more likely to have succes with a ‘clean’ board, with just IDE
controller (no onboard RAID support yet) - but these are more
expensive

Good luck!
