Virus?

I haven’t seem any virus protectors for QNX. Are there any? Commercial?
Freeware? or Shareware? Do I need one?

Hello,

Viruses aren’t being written for this environment. The primary target for virus has always been the Windows environment. Creating a user without root privileges is the best protection against malicious software as well as yourself. By doing this you can preventing problems such as if you were to make a mistake running a command or you run a script that tries to do damage to your system. The user without root privileges won’t have the access to allow the damage to take place.
