Modem, soundcard and mouse/keyboard.....

Hello… I am new to this list…

I installed QNX 6.1 today, but thing didnt go the way I hoped…

first of all my soundcard awe64 somehow is not detected I think… when I
start mediaplayer, it says something about audio…bla bla, and can not play
sound… (sorry… for not knowint the excact thing that are displayed in
mediaplayer)…

my logitech cordless desktop doesnt work, even though it works in every
other os that I have tested… windows, linux, dos, beos and os2…

My internal pci modem does not work… or is not detected… that I didnt
find that strange, but anyway…

What I thought was kinda strange was the other two… sound and
mouse/keyboard… since it says on the hardware list that awe64 is
supported… and the cordless desktop works in all other os I can think
of…

Any Ideas out there??

Is PnP option OFF in your BIOS?

Try the updated devi-hirun driver from:

If it is a soft modem it won’t work.

What I thought was kinda strange was the other two… sound and
mouse/keyboard… since it says on the hardware list that awe64 is
supported… and the cordless desktop works in all other os I can think
of…

Any Ideas out there??
