My mouse goes crazy and only moves horizontally, it is an A4 trackball but
under windows runs perfect using standard serial mouse drivers. I also have

I have seen similiar behaviour, I couldn’t solve it.
But the work-around is to hold on of the buttons on the right side and move
the wheel.
