ppd connection problem with QNX 6.1

Since I’ve installed 6.1 I can’t connect myself to the internet using
QNX

I’ve configured my connection correctly, then I tried to connect
it dials up
Then it connects correctly, and less than 2seconds later it says “PPD
connection closed”

Help’s required…
what have I to do?

I found on the knowledge some time ago that a lot of people were having
this problem with 6.1, and that QNX staff was keeping an eye on it.
does someone know what to do, or when a fix is going to be released?

I have the same problem with BTinternet
I am going to try the pppd fix I found here

I will let you know how it goes.

ok this is what I found out
the fix works for version 6.1
But there is a patch for 6.1 which contains a new version of pppd
which also works but must overwrite the fix to work use the package
installer to update it.

the package is the patch from 6.1 to 6.1a

Just to make it clear. the pppd on developers.qnx.com is the latest.
It fix a problem in 6.1a pppd.

Not quite the problem was in 6.1 pppd not in 6.1a pppd .

It seems pppd was returning error 11 when trying to connect with my isp.
it has not fixed the bug in dailer that only allows one DNS nameserver to be
named.
It fixes pppd not the frontend.
