details tcp/ip no workie on 3Com900

I’m running QNX 6.0.1 (I think) or whatever was released last July
(haven’t applied any patches)

pidin mem | grep devn shows:
devn-el900.so @b0387000 48k 4096

I 've set TCP/IP through phlip.
I also tried with ifconfig and route
But when I try to ping other machines on the network I get
host down.

I’ve tried slaying io-net and restart with tulip and ne2000 no luck

nettrap doesn’t work, does is it come with the windows installation?

I’ve decided to buy another NIC, but I’d still like to get this
working, am I doing something wrong with TCP/IP? I’ve configured
other windows and linux machines with no problems

any clues??? please

Host is down, means that the lower level hardware can’t resolve using arp.
After using the el900 driver, do a nicinfo to see if you have a MAC address
(that makes sense). If not, perhaps you need to specify more options to the
driver (such as IRQ, etc). A good place for hints about that type of info
is to run pci -vvv.
