What's a Good Network Card?

Alright, I’m having difficulty finding a network card that works with QNX
that is:

a) Easy to find at a local store
b) Good but cheap

I think I’m going to have to do some online shopping for one.

From the list of supported network cards, what is a good and affordable one
for QNX RTP 6.1?

Thanks.

Hello Kia,

What you can do is check with your local parts store to see what they
have available. Ask them if you can us there internet link to look at
the supported network card list at
http://qdn.qnx.com/support/hardware/platform/network.html

One really solid card is the 3Com 905 but it´s not cheap. I´m sure
others will post to what they use or recommend.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Dave B.

I have a card that I’ve never had any trouble with, and it
can be very inexpensive.

Netgear FA 310tx

It uses the Tulip drivers

We use cards based on RTL 8139 chip, we have no problem with them.

Pavol Kycina

The cards which use the RealTek chip work well are are cheap.
I use one from GVC.

Ian.
