Geforce3/4?

How is QNXes Geforce3 and GeForce4 support? Or am I stuck with only
Geforce2 support?

We currently have only run on nVidia chipsets up to Geforce2 here.
If you already have a Geforce 3 or 4 you can try to adding an entry
with its PCI device ID to the devg-tnt.so driver in the graphics
enumerator (/etc/system/enum/devices/graphics) to see if you’re
lucky and they’ll work with the existing driver.
It should also work with one of the generic drivers (unaccelereated)

Erick.

Hi Dale,

Also check developers.qnx.com for the updated TNT driver. If you have
problems with video, you should obtain that updated driver asap.

Thanks

Erick.

Joe,

I’m kinda new at this… Can you provide brief instructions for adding
the entry? I’d really like this Geforce3 Personal Cinema card of mine to
work.

Thanks!

You will not be able to use any of the Personal Cinema features.

edit the file /etc/system/enum/devices/graphics, cut and paste an existing
entry and fill in the field with data you will obtain from running the pci
command.

Thanks!

Have you had this work on any cards, Mario? I have an GeForce 4 MX 440
here, and
I have been unable to find a single mode that works correctly, or even
enough to be able
to target the mouse over a button.

Cheers,
Andrew
