Gainward GeForce2 Ti450?

Does QNX support any of the “newer” Geforce2 cards? i.e. the Gainward
GeForce2 Ti450?

Thanks

Hi Dale,

We have not tried that specific card, but have had
a number of similar cards with GeForce2 chipsets working.
There were a number of problems in earlier releases, but
have been fixed. Check out developers.qnx.com for the latest
version of the driver if you do purchase this chipset, as
this driver fixed many issues.

THanks

Erick.

While we’re on the subject…

I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 with a Geforce 2 card. I’ve installed the
updated tnt driver from developers.qnx.com. It works well up to 1024 x 768
32 bit color, but beyond that I have to drop down to 16 or even 8 bit color
to get anything to show up. Are there any plans in the works to support
higher resolutions… or is there any information I could supply or config
changes I could make to get, say 1600 x 1200 32 bit color working?

Tried devg-tnt.so and it didn’t work on my Elsa Gladiac
Ultra 64MB. The symptom is the usual: Voyager can’t
display anything. Makes it rather difficult to read
documentation because the vesa driver only goes to 60 Hz
and is hard on my eyes.

Hi James,

There has been further fixes to the devg-tnt.so driver for cards with 64MB of
video RAM. It will be available in a future release.

Regards,

Joe
