Hi,
I have 3 external modems, one Elsa Microlink Fun 56Kb, Ovislink 56kb
External, ZOOM 56 Kb External. All of them works with Qnx demodisk but
none with QNX RTO 6.1.0.
All of them attemp to connect but when all apears to be good, “boom”,
pppd disconnects. I see this problen in support.qnx.com and say that are
looking for solutions. And i know there are more people with my problems.
I prove with diferents ISPs, none works. I prove with:
slay devc-ser8250
devc-ser8250 -u1 3f8, 4
no works, of course …
I think i have 3 good modems but i´m not capable to do work. I Know all
of them are good for linux. If someone knows one modem that woks with qnx,
please say me. Of course i prefer works with one of this modems …

Take a look in the fixes section of http://developers.qnx.com
there is a fixed pppd there along with a readme that goes through
installing it. Give this a try and see if it solves your problem.
