Newbie QNet question

I understand that QNX Neutrino has a native networking Protocol that allows
all network resources to be in some way mapped into the local pathname space
of any node, thus allowing any node transparent access to network resources.
i am having some difficulty getting detailed information on how this works
though can anyone point me in the right direction?
