audio driver for ESS1868 or ALS0120 ?

QNX found my sound card, but io-audio isn’t started.

I have an ESS1868 and an ALS0120. I’m guessing neither is supported. I’m
wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this.

ESS1868:
I’ve read in the documentation for deva-ctrl-sb.so located here:
http://www.qnx.com/developer/docs/momentics_nc_docs/neutrino/utilities/d/dev
a-ctrl-sb.so.html

that “Some sound cards listed as being Sound Blaster compatible default to
another mode (e.g. ESS18xx series, OPTi 931, Yamaha OPL3-SA). These cards
will not work with this driver.”

I see a deva-ctrl-ess1938.so, but that appears to be for PCI ESS cards.

ALS0120:
I don’t see anything about this card anywhere. I’ve seen mention of support
for it under linux, but I don’t think there is QNX support for it.

If QNX can support either of these cards, let me know, otherwise I’ll break
down and buy a new sound card.

Try to configure your ISA board via isapnp (formerly sources available at
quics but it can be found at sf.net or freshmeat.net), the one thing you
need to do is add ThreadCtl(blah, blah) at the main function to enable use
direct I/O.
