I have seen a similar error before that was solved by adding your hostname
to the /etc/hosts file. The system uses the hostname and therefore if the
hostname is something other then the default localhost, you must add the
hostname to the /etc/hosts file for it to work.

I’m trying to use the new IDE but when I try to save anything I get.
Also after the install of 6.2 PE the .boot file is corrupt. I can’t
it or even copy over it.
