phindows and qnet on momentics

Hello,

I have a new PC installed with QNX Momentics in a network where there are
other QNX RTP machines. I set up qnet with the command:

mount -Tio-net npm-qnet.so

However I am unable to see other nodes in /net. Am I missing something.

Also, I am unable to connect to a PC running Momentics from a Windows PC
using Phindows.

Thank you
Vilas

Hi Vilas,

However I am unable to see other nodes in /net. Am I missing something.

Have you given the machine a hostname? It must be something other than
“localhost”.
You can use the Network configuration utility to assign a new hostname.

Also, I am unable to connect to a PC running Momentics from a Windows PC
using Phindows.

Make sure you have the phrelay line uncommented in your /etc/inetd.conf file
and then
start inetd.

Barry

Got it. Thanks!!

Vilas
