Printer detection

Hi all,

Is it my imagination, or does the printer have to be powered up when QNX is
booting for it to be detected (and usable) by Photon?

Whenever I’ve booted up into Photon with the printer turned off, the Print
dialog box shows no printer, even if I turned it on after booting up.

Thanks,
Neil

It will be detected eventually after you turn the printer on. Spooler does a slow poll on the parallel port
looking for printers. If you don’t want to wait for it, you can slay spooler and start it again.
