Desktop Manager Question . . .

I’m having some difficulty getting the Desktop manager in Photon to run in
6.1. According to the documentation, the PDM should be displayed on the
Photon desktop but I can’t seem to confirm it’s even running let alone
displayed or hidden. I am seeing the taskbar and another Shelf on the
desktop but I’m not seeing the ‘Options’ selection in the desktop menu, nor
am I seeing the “QNX” logo button on the taskbar.

As you can tell I’m new to QNX. I’ve got it installed as the only OS on a
Cyrix 266MHz processor laptop.

Is there some package I didn’t install?

Any help for this rookie would be appreciated.

There is no PDM for QNX6. On QNX4 it was pwm+pdm, on QNX6 it is pwm+shelf+
wmswitch+bkgdmgr.
