Driver for Creative Audigy Soundcard?

Hello all,

I’m kind of new to QNX, but learing. I was wondering if anyone knows if
there is a driver available for the Creative Audigy soundcard? Mandrake
Linux has support and I’m sure other distros do as well.

I’m not a coder by any means, but I’ve been told that porting from Linux
to QNX is pretty easy. If that is the case, how hard would it be for
someone to make a driver for the Audigy?

regards,

Lee

That would be porting applications - like bash or apache. Generally
such applications are written a standard set of APIs (C, POSIX, UNIX, etc).
However, there are no such standards for the kernel itself or for
device drivers. So porting an audio driver is not a simple task.
