Serial ports on other nodes ?

I come from a QNX 4.2X back ground and I was wondering how you (in QNX 4
talk) look at other nodes, specifically I was wondering how to tell my
program to open a serial port on a different node ? On QNX 4.2X you just
specified something like //2/dev/ser1 (for example).

Now to explain this further I have only setup one machine with QNX Neutrino
6.2.1 (think) and are investigating how long it will take to upgrade our
software from QNX 4.25 to the latest Neutrino.

Thanks for any help here.

From experience it can be just a recompile or a major rework.

QNX has a migration toolkit, go to:

for it.
