install RtP into a vmware virtual machine?

nop! just tried out with no success :frowning:
(but Linux as the host OS survived :slight_smile:
QNX is mentioned at vmware.com as not planned to be supported in the
nearer future…

Are you trying to say it’s usable?

Last time I tried it (6 months ago?), booting linux kernel under it
took something like 2 hours, on AMD k6-2/450. Yep, you got real
virtual computer. Virtually you have something to run other OS, but in
practice, no way.
