Ok. I have a pcmcia WiFi card, and I have typed in “mount -T io-net -o “network=WLAN” /lib/dll/devn-orinoco.so” and I get no error messages. When I try “io-net -d /lib/dll/orinoco.so etc.” and it gives me no messages but I have no power light, which I havn’t had. When I try “io-net -d /lib/dll/prism.so etc.” replacing parameters for that driver I get a no such device message but I get a power light on the card. When I open network settings I choose en0 from PPPoE but can’t find any settings relevant to what I want eg. IP adress. Can anyone help?
The card is a WaveLan silver which I believe uses the orinocochipset. Thanks in advance!
