I have the RTP installed but the message “/dev/par not found”
is displayed during boot.
Where is this driver started?
The RtP does not allow the short form “/dev/par”.
You have to say “/dev/par1”.

The QNX 4 drivers would typically allow any device name without a device
number (/dev/ser, /dev/con). The driver would connect to the first unused
device number. Since this was supported by the indivudual driver and not
the OS, it seams that there is nothing to prevent a driver from continuing
to provide this service under NTO.
