C&T display problem

On my Toshiba Satellite 4000 CDS the C&T driver is not
happy.
The bottom roughly 10% (where the taskbar should be) is
replaced by 5 horizontal copies of the total screen (garbled).
The top 90% functions ok.
The height of the garbled display chanes with the depth.
(24 bit has a smaller height than 8 bit).
I tried the vesa drivers - same problem.
The hardware cursor also doesn’t seem to work ok, sw cursor works ok.
The current invocation is:
io-graphics -g800x600x24 -dldevg-chips_hiqv.do -I0 -d0x102x,0xe5 -cSW

The chip is a C&T 65555.
The beta version displayed fine on this machine.

there are problems with Toshiba laptops. See past emails.
Anyway the chipset was CT65554. I don’t know about CT65555

We are waiting for a patch from QSSL-

There are a number of problems occuring on the Toshiba
laptops. The one you are describing is a bug in the
C&T driver that should be fixed in a patch soon.
