Unable to run the Mixer.

Hi everybody.

Could someone explain to me what’s wrong ?
When I try to run the Mixer the error message
pops up:

“Can not open/read control - …”

and after this the Mixer is immediately closed.

Hi Arturas,

I assume you cannot also open music files (mp3’s) in the media player? or .wav
files? Is deva-audiopci running? Also what type of sound card do you have in
your system? Make sure that its a supported one:

For a soundcard on the ISA bus, only SoundBlaster (1.0, 2.0, Pro, 16 and
AWE) cards are supported at this time.

Yes, you’re right.

Also what type of sound card do you have in
your system? Make sure that its a supported one:

Unfortunetely my card isn’t supported - it’s YAMAHA OPL3-SA :frowning:
