How do I access the internet thru a Linksys Ethernet DSL/Cab

I have a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router BEFSR41. It provides a DHCP
server, internet firewall, and router for
a small network. It works great with my PCs and Power PC Mac, but I
can’t get it to work with QNX. I attach to the
internet via DSL and a static IP.

Has anyone got to the internet thru the Linksys Cable/DSL Router with
QNX?
It seems to recognize my no-name Ethernet card just fine.

Works fine for me. I’m running the BEFSR11 (1 port) plugged into my
16-port switch. No problems at all. You might consider installing the
latest firmware in the Linksys router. Check the website, there are
frequent updates.

Hi Martin,
I have a BEFSR41 and it works fine for me EXCEPT: the Voyager browser does
not display the configuration pages properly for the router. I’m running a
couple of Win machines on my network, so I use them for the configuration,
which circumvents the problem. I’m assuming of course that your io-net is
loaded etc and that you can see your internal network properly from nto. I’m
also assuming that you’ve checked your cabling on your router: I didn’t read
my router manual at first and was using both port 1 and the uplink port at
the same time, which didn’t work, but I was unaware that the two ports could
not be used simulaneously. My router’s firmware is version 1.36 Oct 5 2000.
Hope this helps,
Andrew
