Cirrus Logic GD-754X VGA

I’m trying to use QNX RTP on Datava PC which has Cirrus Logic GD-754X
VGA on board. I need to use the onboard VGA because it has direct
digital output for my LCD monitor.

Problem is, that QNX claim there are no usable VESA modes and switch
to VGA mode 640x480 with 16 colors. I need at least 256 colors for my
applications …

I know, that GD7543 chipset from Cirrus Logic is not listed as
supported video hardware but I want to know if there is something I can
try. Under Linux I will try to modify existing driver for closest
chipset but here without sources don’t have any idea.

Thank you for any hint

There will be an svga driver in an upcoming patch. This will
be unaccelerated, but should give you more resolutions and
color depths.
