Re-installing RTP

I was playing on my system at home. I screwed up the QNX FS on the Windows
partition pretty badly. So I completly deleted \ProgramFiles\qnx and
attempted a reinstall.

I got a warning on the screen that said, “RTP has already been installed on
this system are you sure you want to continue?” I said yes and the
installed appeared to finish without incident.

HOWEVER . . . .

When I try to boot into RTP I get a message that there is no “.diskboot”
file. Shortly after that there is another message that says it can’t find
any packages or something like that. After that the system is hung.

How do I do a re-install? There is nothing in the \ProgramFiles\qnx folder
that I need to save, so I’m willing to clobber everything.

Uninstall if first just like any other windows program (control panel/add
remove program/…)

Thank Mario but . . .

It still complains about no /.diskroot file, etc.

Would you happen to have a “weird” partition. On my

laptop there was a partition reserved for hibernation,
it seems to confuses automounting. Removing the
partition solved the problem.

don’t just remove those partitions. some vendors (like compaq)
have special partition for SETUP (bios thing?), you will need it
later.
