i installed qnx-rtp this afternoon. it installed and booted fine on my
good-old pentium i-165mhz machine. there are some problems with the
video card (it only identifies the vga mode) and mouse (the movement is
erratic and jerky). since the video card problem is more pressing, here
are some details:
i ran crttrap -trap and the result is: “crttrap did not find any video
modes. resorting to vga driver.”
windows95 recognises the display as SiS 6202; according to norton’s
system info it is 800x600 in 64K Colors, SiS 6202 Ver. 4.0.
The Graphics DDK will be shipped shortly in which you will
be able to create your own driver if you wish, or someone
else in the community. Another option is to talk to your
sales rep and discuss getting support for this chipset.

Just as a side note, in Patch A there is a SVGA driver that
may get more resolutions and color depths than what you currently
have. The SiS 6202 may not have VESA 2.0 support so the SVGA
driver may make the difference for you. The Patch should be
comming shortly.
