QNX on IBM Thinkpad T20

Hi,

Has anyone successfully installed QNX RTP on a thinkpad t20? My installation
hangs during boot, right after attempting to detect the parallel port. I
tried to disable detection of legacy h/w but it then hangs elsewhere, after
a bunch of assertion failures. (I’d be happy to provide more accurate error
messages if this would help.)

Any pointers much appreciated.

I’ve just finished installing QNX RTP onto my new IBM Thinkpad A21p with
full screen resolution 1600x1200. I did not have any problems with the
paralell port (I think I’d previously disabled it in BIOS Setup).

I installed everything from the CD onto a partition created by QNX install
program.

Thanks. I was able to boot after disabling the scan for isa pnp devices.
