SCSI Driver Problem

Hi,

I have updated an existing RTP system to QNX 6 (the latest download).
After that I had the following booting problem:
the system detected a SCSI-controller, started devb-aha8, and was looking
for devices. There it got stuck.
I don’t know, if my SCSI-controller is supported by QNX6, but I
do not need it anyway, since I have only EIDE-devices.

So to get the system started again, I had to make a diskette-bootimage on
another
computer, where I deleted the devb-aha8 entry.

I also tried a complete new installation, but I got basicly the same
problem: it got stuck on detecting devices on the SCSI-controller.

Is there any better solution to that ??

Regards Norbert.

Hi Norbert,

What SCSI controller do you have in your system? (exact chipset)

Thanks
