install with ISO on a hd

Quick question: Is it possible to install QNX on its own partition using
just the ISO image on another hard disk? I don’t have a burner, and I want
to install QNX on my desktop PC. I have a couple hard drives in it, being
used by Linux. Would I be able to create the partition and make a bootable
drive manually from Linux or a boot disk? Ultimately, I’d like to have just
QNX on that machine.

Thanks,
Jason

No. With Windows you can install a CD emulator that will give
you access to the ISO (or you can use some software to
extract the files from the ISO Image) . Then copy the files
to the HD, and run the install. Once you’re in QRTP you should
be able to setup the package manager to point the the repository that
you’ve copied from the “CD” to the HD.

I’m not familliar with Linux so I don’t know if a program to extract
file from ISO images is available.
