Booting from SCSI disk

I have a 2 gig drive on an Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter… It’s the second
drive. The first is 8 gigs, with Linux on it. I’ve booted off the CD,
installed to the 2 gig drive, and then rebooted. When I go to boot off
that drive, though, what I get is:

(8G) Press Esc for .altboot… ?80

And then it locks.

Any ideas?

Anyone? If no one offers a suggestion, I might try installing QNX onto a
Windows partition and giving it a whirl, but I’d much rather get it onto
it’s own disk if posible…
