Is there any way to install on an ATA/66 HD???

I’m a newbie here.

Is there any way I can do this, here’s what I get when I boot up:

Detecting disk controllers and disks…
Detecting EIDE controller. Scanning for devices…
Could not get drive info for /dev/hd0
Continue (Y/N)

Partition installation aborted!
Please remove the install floppy and cd then reboot your machine.

Can somone with words of wisdom reply to me directly as well?

(As I don’t frequent this group often.) Thank you all

Hi Udo,

At this time there isn’t any ATA 66 drivers yet, however if you
can you can disable the 66 drivers in the BIOS (granted your
ATA controller is on the motherboard and not as a separate card).

Thanks

Erick
